During Day One, the emphasis will be on exploring your unique message and developing your book idea through brainstorming, creative writing exercises, and free-writing sprints to help you get started and craft a compelling opening chapter. On Day Two, they'll focus on setting you up for success so you'll leave the weekend with a clear plan of action for completing your book. Q. What if I can't attend the entire time? Will a replay be available?

A. While Sunny and Shanda recommend blocking off your schedule as if you were attending in person, a replay will be provided for all attendees. However, they feel you'll get the most out of the weekend if you show up and participate.

Q. Am I required to purchase the "Meet-and-Greet & Pitch Party" and how does the awarded publishing package work?

A. The "Meet and Greet & Pitch Party" is an optional add-on for Thursday evening. It is not mandatory, but it's your chance to connect over Zoom and pitch your book idea for a chance to win the awarded self-publishing package via Transcendent Publishing. During the "Pitch Party" you'll also have the opportunity to gain intuitive and professional feedback on your book idea to help you refine it.

The deluxe self-publishing package ($8,000 value) will be awarded by Transcendent Publishing and includes professional editing, cover design, interior formatting and design for both eBook and paperback, proofreading, author coaching, and the "Launch to Amazon #1 Bestseller" marketing campaign. Q. I'm not very tech-savvy. Do I need to purchase or download any special software?

A. You are not required to purchase any software as long as you have internet access. You'll meet over Zoom, which is free for attendees. A link will be provided for you to join the Zoom room prior to the event.

A. Yes, a payment plan is available for the cost of the retreat. You may pay in two payments of $319. If you'd like to add the "Meet-and-Greet & Pitch Party" you must pay in full for that add-on (additional $222).
